## How much does Julius AI cost in 2026?

**Answer:** Julius AI has a Free plan and paid plans from Plus at $20 a month ($16 a month billed annually) to Business at $450 ($375 annually), with higher credit tiers above Pro and Business and custom Enterprise pricing.

Julius sells credits, not messages. Plus includes 2,000 credits a month, Pro 5,000 and Business 60,000. Above them sit Max ($200 a month, 25,000 credits) and Ultra ($500, 70,000) on the individual ladder, and four Growth tiers ($750 to $5,000 a month, 100,000 to 850,000 credits) on the team ladder. Annual plans are billed once a year, with all credits granted on day one.

The pricing page labels annual billing Save 20%. Plus matches that, at $16 against $20, but Pro ($37 against $45) and Business ($375 against $450) are about 18% and 17% cheaper billed annually. All prices here are US dollars.

Julius changed from message limits to credits in 2026, so older reviews that quote message counts are out of date. Check the live pricing page before you buy.
- Free: $0, with 25 welcome credits once and 25 credits a day.
- Plus: $20 a month, or $16 billed annually, with 2,000 credits a month.
- Pro: $45 a month, or $37 billed annually, with 5,000 credits a month.
- Business: $450 a month, or $375 billed annually, with 60,000 credits a month.

## What does each Julius plan include?

**Answer:** Every Julius plan can create presentations, reports, websites, images and video, but Free is limited. Paid plans add credits, frontier models, more memory and longer file storage, and Business adds teammates and data warehouse connectors.

Free lets you upload .csv, .xlsx and .sav files, connect Google Drive and use Julius's lighter models, with the presentation, image, video and website builders marked Limited. Plus adds frontier models such as GPT-6.1 Sol and Claude Opus 5.5, analysis of files with charts and presentations, 16 GB of RAM and 7-day file storage. Pro lists analysis of spreadsheets, documents and data files, 32 GB of RAM, unlimited parallel agents and priority email support.

Business adds teammates, up to 50 team members, Postgres, BigQuery, Snowflake and other data connectors, and no table limit in data connections. Julius says Business suits smaller teams that want to test self-serve, and that Enterprise suits organizations that want SSO, audit logging and fine-grained roles. Enterprise pricing is custom, and its credits are listed as unlimited.

## How do Julius credits work, and what runs out first?

**Answer:** Credits run out first. Julius charges credits per action, and model choice, task type and complexity all change the cost. Unused credits expire at the end of the billing cycle, and Julius does not sell top-ups.

Julius says a simple message costs less than a full analysis or a code run. Its docs list Julius 1.2 Lite and Claude Sonnet 5.5 as light models that spend credits far more slowly than frontier models such as Julius 1.2 Max, Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra, and the model selector marks each model with one to four dollar signs to show relative cost.

Paid plans also get 100 daily refresh credits. Unused credits do not roll over, and Julius says buying extra credits or topping up is not supported at the moment, so needing more usage means upgrading. An upgrade takes effect immediately and resets your billing cycle to the upgrade date.

Memory and storage are the other limits. Plus has 16 GB of RAM and Pro 32 GB. Julius says it enforces no row limit, but the practical limit is what fits in the sandbox's memory. Files are kept for up to 7 days of inactivity on paid plans and 1 hour on Free, and containers spin down after 1 hour of inactivity.
- Costs rise with a bigger model, a longer output, a larger dataset and more steps.
- Track usage on the Usage page; the balance, grants and history are listed there.

## Is Julius AI free, and what are the free plan's limits?

**Answer:** Julius has a Free plan, but it is capped: 25 welcome credits once plus 25 credits a day, Julius's lighter models, limited use of the presentation, image, video and website builders, and files deleted after 1 hour of inactivity.

Julius's pricing FAQ says every plan, including Free, can create presentations, websites and videos, and that Free comes with a daily credit allowance. To make more, try more versions or keep iterating without waiting for credits to refresh, you need a paid plan. The 25 welcome credits are a one-time grant that does not renew.

Julius's docs also describe institutional codes: if an instructor or workplace gives you a code, you can redeem it in your account settings to get access to a Julius plan. A student discount was not found on the pages read.
- Credits: 25 once, then 25 a day.
- Models: Julius 1.2 Lite on all plans; Julius 1.2, Julius 1.2 Max and third-party models on paid plans.
- Files: deleted after 1 hour of inactivity, against 7 days on paid plans.

## What costs extra or catches people out?

**Answer:** Julius does not sell extra credits, bills annual plans once a year, treats credits as non-refundable, and expects you to cancel before renewal. Several of its own pages also disagree on credit numbers.

Julius's refund policy says refunds are reviewed case by case, credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, and you are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and can take up to 10 business days to appear.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period, and any unused portion is applied as a credit toward the next invoice with no separate refund. After you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period, unused credits expire, your files are preserved, and you can still log in on the Free plan. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled through Apple or Google.

Check the numbers on the live page. The credits doc gives a Pro annual example of 50,000 credits for the year, while the pricing page lists 60,000. The 2026 announcement listed Pro at 4,500 credits a month and Business at 45,000, while the pricing page now lists 5,000 and 60,000. This guide uses the pricing page.
- No top-ups: more usage means a higher plan.
- Annual billing is paid upfront at a discounted rate.
- Business lists up to 50 team members, and Enterprise is priced separately.

## Which Julius plan should you pick?

**Answer:** Start on Free to test one real file, move to Plus for regular analysis, and choose Pro or higher only if you run out of credits or memory. Teams that need warehouse connectors should look at Business.

Credits, not the monthly price, are the usual reason to move up. Watch the Usage page for a month before committing to an annual plan, because annual fees are paid upfront and credits are non-refundable.
- Testing one project: Free gives 25 credits a day and lighter models.
- A few analyses a week: Plus, with 2,000 credits, frontier models and 16 GB of RAM.
- Daily or heavy work, or larger files: Pro with 5,000 credits and 32 GB of RAM, or Max or Ultra for 25,000 or 70,000 credits.
- A team that needs Postgres, BigQuery or Snowflake: Business, with up to 50 team members.
- SSO and audit logging: Enterprise, priced by contacting Julius.

## Is Julius better than ChatGPT?

**Answer:** No winner can be named: this guide did not test either. Julius is built around data analysis and sells credits from $20 a month, while ChatGPT is a general assistant that lists data analysis from its $8 Go plan and limited data analysis on Free.

Julius describes itself as an AI assistant for statistical analysis, data science and computations that writes code to analyze your data, and its paid plans list third-party models from OpenAI, Anthropic and others alongside its own. Business adds data warehouse connectors. Its limits are credits and memory.

ChatGPT's pricing page lists Free at $0 with limited file uploads and data analysis, Go at $8 with both, Plus at $20 and Pro from $100. Plus adds Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Sheets extensions, which Free and Go list as limited, and Go may include ads. ChatGPT's spreadsheet page says you can upload a spreadsheet and ask questions, and that Plus and Pro customers can connect Google Drive.

The practical test is your own file. Run the same spreadsheet and the same three questions through both free plans, then check each answer against the source.

## How does Julius compare on price with ChatGPT, Claude, Coefficient, Rows and FluxGravity?

**Answer:** Entry paid plans billed monthly cost $20 for Julius Plus, $8 for ChatGPT Go, $20 for Claude Pro, $59 for Coefficient Starter, $8 per user for Rows Plus and $5 for FluxGravity Spark. They do different jobs, so the table lists what each plan includes beside the price.

ChatGPT and Claude are general assistants. Claude's Free plan lists searching the web, creating files and running code, and Claude Pro costs $17 a month with annual billing ($200 up front) or $20 monthly. Coefficient and Rows are spreadsheet tools: Coefficient brings live data from other systems into Google Sheets and Excel, with a free tier of 5,000 rows per import and 50 import refreshes a month, and Rows is a spreadsheet app with an AI analyst, with 5 AI tasks a month on Free.

Rows's pricing page opens with a notice that Rows has joined Superhuman, so check how that affects plans before you commit. Coefficient lists Pro free for 30 days. Plan prices are not like-for-like, and credits, tasks and usage limits are not equivalent across vendors, so no row is a cost per analysis.

## Where does FluxGravity fit next to Julius, and where does it not?

**Answer:** FluxGravity lists spreadsheets and graphs as creation tools from its Spark plan, at $5 a month or $4 a month billed annually, and not on Free. FluxGravity wrote this page, and no one tested it against Julius.

FluxGravity is an AI workspace and agent that turns a brief into finished work, including spreadsheets and graphs, documents, slide decks and videos. Plan prices, as plain facts: Free costs $0 with 100 credits once, Spark costs $5 a month ($4 billed annually) with 650 credits a month, Pro costs $20 ($16) with 2,800, and Ultra costs $50 ($40) with 7,000. Paid credits renew monthly and do not roll over.

That is all this guide claims. It makes no claim about what FluxGravity's spreadsheets can analyze, which files they accept, how accurate they are, or how they compare with Julius's data connectors, and FluxGravity does not publish credits per spreadsheet, so no cost per analysis is given.
- Fit: spreadsheets and graphs generated from a brief, alongside documents and slides.
- Not covered here: data connectors, file types, accuracy and team features.

## Is Julius AI any good?

**Answer:** This guide did not test Julius, so it makes no quality claim. Julius documents analysis of CSV, Excel and other files, charts, presentations and websites, and says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Its documented limits are credits, memory and short file retention on Free.

Julius's file docs list CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet, SQLite, SPSS, text, PDF and image files, and say you can link a Google Sheet. The FAQ says multi-tab spreadsheets work and that you can refer to tabs by name.

Judge it on a real task. Upload one file you already understand, ask for an analysis you can check by hand, and watch how many credits it uses on a light model and a frontier model before you pay.
- Documented strengths: many file types, charts, presentations and websites, data connectors on Business, SOC 2 Type II compliance.
- Documented limits: credits that expire at the end of each billing cycle, no top-ups, 16 or 32 GB of RAM, files kept 1 hour on Free.
- Not documented on the official pages: accuracy of results.
